What is Tae Kwon Do?

Tae Kwon Do is a martial art that originates from Korea. Roughly translating to the way of the hand and foot, Tae Kwon Do is very similar to Japanese Karate, and much of it can be traced back to the martial arts of Japan. Tae Kwon Do is now the national sport of Korea and has seen a large rise of popularity in the United States in recent decades.

Studio of Korean Karate located in College Park, MD has been keeping the art of Tae Kwon Do alive for over 35 years. Since that time we have seen many students come ago, but the tradition remains alive. We have classes four times a week and anyone six and over is welcome to walk in and take a class for free.
